Hoxton Manor allotment site was established in 1957, and during 2007 celebrated its 50th anniversary by launching this website, building a community shed with help from the lottery fund, and held an Open Day and 50th celebration 2 September. The Walthamstow Town's Allotments Association is a society set up at the beginning of the 20th century -- we held our 92nd AGM in 2007 -- which provides overall management for four allotment sites: Chestnuts Farm, Cheshire Fields, Hoxton Manor and Low Hall Farm.
