Pumpkin Fun 2007

Allotment site children had fun on Halloween Sunday 2007, making pumpkin lanterns.

Despite the pouring rain 12 children came to enjoy the activity, and enjoy cutting, carving, scooping out and lighting the candles in their lanterns. Thanks to the new shed we all kept dry!

Thanks to Peter and Rachel for running the Halloween fun lantern making activity, and to Imogen, Valerie & Sakina for helping. Thanks also to National Grid for sponsorship. Here are some of the children and the lanterns they made.
