The Walthamstow Town's Allotments Association is a society set up at the beginning of the 20th century -- we held our 92nd AGM in 2007 -- which provides overall management for four allotment sites: Chestnuts Farm, Cheshire Fields, Hoxton Manor and Low Hall Farm.
The WTAA leases the land from the council, and manages issues of leasing, rents, getting financial and legal advice, fundraising and other external relations. Each site committee runs their site day-to-day, and can decide on letting plots, having open days and other activities (subject to overriding policies such as equal opportunities).
To contact WTAA call the Association Secretary Samantha Mason on 07919 823 854 or
