Hoxton Manor allotment site was established in 1957, and in 2007 celebrated its 50th anniversary. The site was founded so the plot holders on the Eton Manor site in Leyton which was sliced through by the building of the Ruckholt Road could have somewhere to garden. Have you got any memories of the allotment site and the area? We would love to hear from you if you do. See contact us.

We marked the 50th anniversary by launching this website, building a community shed with help from the lottery fund, and having a social event and open day on 2 September at the allotment site. Read about it here .

During 2007 we opened a remembrance garden on the site. This has been prepared and a plaque donated by plot holders to honour the memory of previous plot holders who have passed on.
